Hi

I was wondering what kind of offline database you could advise me to classify my poster collection ? Sorry if this topic has already been treated. Where actually ?
Thanks for feedback

I just stumbled upon this one last night. I'm looking into it.

technically, it's could based, so it's an online, multi platform DB.

I use Filemaker. It's very powerful and customizable.
I have over 13,000 documented items in my database now.
I keep track of everything including name of artist, year, facts, sizes, images of the item, cost paid, and when an item is sold i keep it in the database and mark it as sold with cost associated.

I do all of that but jsut use an excel spreadsheet. Helps with insurance.
Its a pain the first time you set it up, but after that just enter in each print as you buy/sell them.

Just got AirTable and I really like it! I'm using it to catalog all my valuables - best part is how seamless it is to snap a picture using your phone's camera.
