Added purchase prices but sales data does not change

I am new on here but active on some other boards. Really love the ability to catalogue your collection.

My question is that I have purchased several works in the last month and added them to my collection with price paid and from where I purchased (all galleries). Does something have to happen for the historical price data to update?

Price charts are based on recorded _sales_. The amount you put in for how much you paid for a piece when adding it to your collection doesn't really affect anything. It's just for your own record-keeping purposes.
