I'm pretty new to this site and recently sent money to a user for a print they agreed to send. I sent the money before any requests for feedback were sent... it's been over a week and they have ignored all my PMs looking for an update. It doesn't seem like they're going to be sending out the print - is there anything I can do to provide any sort of feedback for him? Or get my money back? Any help is appreciated, thank you.

I'd give it another few days - seller may have had an emergency pop up or something. If you don't hear (or receive) anything by the end of this week, though, I'd definitely file a Paypal chargeback.

You didn't pay by gift, did you? Please tell me you didn't pay by gift.

All sellers go through at least one emergency before sending out the print.

Doesn't matter, you can still open a claim on a gift payment by calling paypal.

You can open a claim, but you probably won't get your money back, unlike a goods/service payment

Yep, good old "family emergency" - I used to get that one a lot. I really profile who I am buying from now. If I find a few good sellers I tend to stick with them.
The Feedback system works - If you don't see solid recent feedback - pass. If the person won't send you a PayPal involve stating exactly what they are sending you
and the terms - pass. Like someone else said, never gift the money. You will hear some interesting excuses blaming the IRS and others, don't do it.

Everyone is in such a damn hurry. So something takes a couple weeks to arrive and updates aren't provided every hour on the hour. So what. stefansf is right, get an invoice. When you have that and don't pay as a gift you can just get your money back if the buyer is a turd.

Hope hes not on here. http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... out+thread
Do research before you send money dont count on feedback.
Clawslaw had great feedback . I know I left him some right before he went rouge.
Sure he got some suckers with "look at my great feedback " while 5 callout threads were going.
