Prints from my oil painting..."Papa Het"... James Hetfield, another collaboration with photographer Rene Huemer of Austria who graciously allowed me to paint from his photo of Metallica in concert on May 15th, 2009 in Vienna, Austria. James Alan Hetfield born August 3, 1963 in Downey, California, United States is the rhythm guitarist, co-founder, main songwriter, and lead vocalist for the American heavy metal band Metallica. The reproduction has a huge image area of 37” x 26” (94 cm x 66 cm). This print is a limited edition of 700. Produced from my original oil painting. The reproduction is printed on a heavy 100lb. dull cover stock.

These were created from my original oil painting, which was another collaboration with René Huemer, a very talented photographer in Vienna, Austria who allowed me use his image as inspiration for a very tight painting. The Gilmour image was shot on the July 27, 2006. He was playing at a venue in upper Austria called "Burg Klam". Gilmour is best known as guitarist, vocalist and writer with Pink Floyd, he is also renowned for his solo work. One of my favorite cds is ”On An Island”. These prints are from the limited edition of 700 of each size being offered. Produced from my original oil painting The reproductions offered here have a large vibrant image areas printed on a heavy 100lb. dull cover stock. I painted the original, and am now honored to be able to offer this print to you to share the expansiveness that David brings with his soaring guitar.
