I was wondering if it is possible to increase mailbox capacity? If so, perhaps it can be a perk for those than contribute $X a year or something. Just a thought, because I sometimes have the need to look back on old PMs for this or that.

Go to rules/folders/settings, and create a new mailbox. I started archiving all my pms.

You can create unlimited folders, which can hold up to 500 messages each... You now have move room in your Inbox. I'll PM you with my Paypal address for the monthly subscription fee.

Haha, I'm always losing PMs, more space would be cool. I need to get in the habit of deleting PMs.

I would love a search function for PMs.

@ finneganm: didn't know you could do that... cool

I guess when the servers run out of space you guys will start deleting art

I've got plenty of room -in- the folders, was just curious if there was a way to create more than 9 since that seemed to be the limit. sounds like the answer is no

What's the point to keeping pm's? Stalker status.

Well, it's possible to add more folders but the problem is that every little message is another thing for the database to remember. The more of you crazy cats that hoard messages rather than going through them then the more money needs to get spent, more optimisation on the database, etc. On drop days when the site goes slow/down ask yourselves if you really need to keep every PM ever.

You can always export the old stuff as CSV or XML to keep archives.

I prefer to hand transcribe the older messages into a handmade, leather bound notebook using a quill from a patriotic bald eagle and the finest indian ink available.
