EB Entry Corrections Part 3

That's sort of the thing. What I think doesn't play into it at all. This is purely an evidence based discussion. I'm not going to undo something someone else did unless there is evidence supporting it. Otherwise it goes into a very grey area of speculation and conjecture. If you can provide evidence that supports your assertion, I'll gladly make the update.foreman wrote:small edition of 75. 3 of them sold $32,000, $30,000 and $21,000... and you think one just randomly sold for $1,200 ? It doesn't even have the # of the edition listed. It was a fake and the buyer got scammed.
I have no clue what kind of evidence you need to know this sale is bogus... im just trying to help out, if you feel it is valuable to the community to leave something that is so obviously incorrect, so be it. Makes no difference to me. Maybe it was a real print ... just run over by a dump truck and covered in mud and torn in half... regardless, no clue why it would be tracked as an important transaction.
heres a sale of one during a similar time... Sept 12, 2012 sold for 15,000 gbp... which was $24,330 (according to sept 12, 2012 gbp/usd exchange rate)
it was #3/75 (How does this get added to results?)

Is your reasoning for leaving the $1,200 sale up because you think this was a legitimate sale made on ebay? You think a real radar rat just floated up on ebay and NO one noticed it? On top of that...the seller not have a clue the piece of art he was selling was worth way over $20,000 dollars!? and He just let it go for $1,200... lol.
Your concern is noted, and my position hasn't changed. You've not presented anything more in the way of support for your claim that that was not a legitimate transaction. Until that happens, I'm not touching it. I'm sorry, but there's a certain amount of integrity that has to be maintained (as best as possible) in the database, and part of that is not making judgement decisions with no evidence to support it. Neither you nor I know the details of that specific transaction. So neither of us are in a position to make a judgement on it one way or the other. When something is logged, I consider the burden of proof to be in the hands of any person that want's to undo it. If something is logged, that means it was approved by a moderator. I'm not going to undo that approval, without proof that it should be undone. I don't care who the artist is, or how valuable the print is. That's my final decision, unless you come with supporting evidence to the contrary. Thanks.
So it goes...

Doesn't appear that it's been entered, which you're welcome to do.SAJPosters wrote:there is a third print from the triptych (chicago) that needs it too, but I can't seem to find that print on EB
So it goes...
Maybe because the person adding the auction didn’t fill in that field?foreman wrote:mfaith wrote:Is there anything to go on besides the price? That's not really enough to justify removing an entry. Need some kind of reference as to why it shouldn't be counted (an indication that it was damaged, order not fulfilled and resold, wrong item entirely, etc)foreman wrote:http://expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/51762
sale in 2013 for $1262 is bogus. should not be in there... these sell for 10's of thousands of dollars.
