I've just placed an order so I'll report back if anyone is interested.
It would certainly be good to know how they are. Having said that; at that price, you really can't go wrong with Selwyn sleeves - they are the best by far, in my experience.

I can't see prices listed on the site, and I'm pretty sure I called them up for prices and to place my order. We're going back a fair few years, but I think they were £18 each for a pack of ten 30" x 40" with metal corners. I then bought a few cheaper ones from my framer, and the quality paled in comparison.

Thank you so much for the info.
Are you still using them? Would you mind taking a photo ?

No problem at all - happy to help. And good to see our little thread get bumped every now and again!

Here's a search for "selwyns" on UAA and you get a good few pages of pics and more testimonials. (It appears you need to do a captcha if not already a member over there)

I cancelled my order from Amazon and went with the sleeves you recommend. I ordered 6 30x42 sleeves with the metal corners.
Wasn't too expensive and the lady was really nice.

i went for classic black, 30x42, black binding and silver corners.
They come in boxes of 15 but I only wanted 6 so you have to pay a small fee to split the box, 5 pounds.
They were 17.50 each, I think that's a good price as you can fit it two prints in each.

Hope that helps?
I'll happily take some photos when they arrive if you want?

Got my sleeves from Selwyns today and I'm really pleased with them. Really sturdy, clear and hold the prints really nicely.
Thanks for the tip Loobaz!

100% Agree. It's the best thing Mondo have ever released, I'd rather have this than either Star Wars sets :)

Read the small print on Parcelforce today and also phoned them to check... they don't insure art. Seems quite a few couriers are the same. When did this change?? I've ended up using DHL who still cover art up to 5k.
Parcel force told me that to use their service, it would need to be insured through a third party specialist insurer.

Is that just the more valuable items, say £1k or does that cover the £100-£300 item as well?
Rarely use Parcelforce but use Royal Mail a lot which are sister companies in a manner of speaking.

I bought some of the Preservation Equipment archival sleeves 2 weeks ago. They are archival and not cheap and I was worried at first whether they would be too flimsy but when I put some prints in them, they were great. Slide the prints in and the prints almost stick to the polyester sleeve. Which is just what I wanted as I have to move my flat file into storage very soon so these sleeves will protect the prints really well. Plus of course it makes the prints so much easier to handle regardless
