In defining a hook-up, please remember that 'at cost' in this part of the world may include the cost of the print, the cost of shipping and the cost of import duties - so 6-month averages based on US sales may not be valuable. But please do try to make this a hook-up!

There's been some weak ass hookups of late. I'm gonna throw something in here tomorrow. The Aussie's are making us look bad, they have mad deals in their thread.

75 euros for Fargo ain't no 'hook-up'.

If i was selling mine it would be... $45 for the print - $35 to ship, plus another £30 in customs fees....75 euros is under cost!

It's under cost, but no-one is being hooked up. It would be the highest recorded sale.

Fargo poster was $75,- + $35 shipping and about $35 import = $145,-
Price is alo negotiable, but i don't think €75,- is that bad

Haha not sure if serious!

Even though I'm a noob on EB the topic of a hook-up is hard especially for uk'ers as custom fees and postage bump up the total cost so even though a print is $50 plus postage and customs makes it $90 for example then it may be considered by some to be a hookup if they sell it on here for $80 as it would be cheaper than another UK'er can get it, but to others a lower price might make sense!

Suppose it's down to the buyer, I managed to get a taylor beetlejuice with shipping for $10 under the 6 month average which to me was kind of a hookup but to others might not have been

Here's a rule that we should probably consider instating. Everyone seems to get caught up in the "how much it cost me". That doesn't play a part when hooking someone up, like Chenley just proved to everyone.

If you're thinking about how much it cost you, when deciding on a price. Make your own thread. If you're going by average price/recent sales/demand then you're doing it right. Remember the point of a hook-up is that you're hooking up someone else.
