This is entirely not true. Lots of hobbies don't even have collectible markets.

Name one that has nothing to do with limited pieces. Rock collectors even have markets. You can buy rocks on ebay it's crazy! Every hobby has grails, rare, or hard to find pieces that collectors seek. They have to pay a premium in that niche marketplace to obtain those. I can't think of one collector hobby that doesn't have a market. You can buy anything on the internet...even certain strains of weed that are sold at a premium because they aren't common. Every collectible hobby is built upon limited availability. Mondo is a perfect example of limited.

Collector hobbies, maybe, but you said hobbies and that is an extremely general word. Hobbies include things like knitting, flying kites, taking apart clocks, just about anything you can think of that people do in their spare time. All hobbies are not collector hobbies.

Excited to see what other licenses Mondo brings into the fold. In the DC video reveal of the Batman TAS vinyl covers, Justin said they had other upcoming stuff with that license ... part of me wonders if a toy could be in the works, but it's hard to imagine them being able to compete with Hot Toys. There initial reveals seem to indicate that they'll focus on things that haven't really been done before.

Because it's the print we deserve, but not the one we need right now. So we'll hunt it.

Let's not start sucking each other's dicks quite yet.

I think you have to donate a bunch of cash to his foundation or something. Don't know for sure though.

That DeLorean is gonna cost a fudge load of money! The likeness looks kinda off to me though.

That's true. It also has a pretty good chance of never being released too haha.

Even though this is just a Mondo Toy thread, is anyone else really disappointed in the toys released at SDCC??
