Season 2 drops October 19
Finished. Eh -I take it back about the dull premise, which wasn't fully clear until after I wrote that. But most of the emo stuff didn't land with me and the leads werre sort of washed out by a script in need of a punch up. Imagine some people will really enjoy it for the same reasons I didn't. My wife did.fredo wrote:Got through 2 eps of Maniac. Overall thought it was slow and clumsy and that neither lead did much to help. To be fair, though, the story hasn't gotten rolling and the premise doesn't interest me too much. Prolly give it another Ep or 2.
C+

For those of you with kids - the new series Hilda is absolutely delightful - great soundtrack, fantastic (as applies to fantasy) plot, it’s both funny and sweet. We’ve not read the graphic novels it’s based on, but will remedy that shortly.

I kid. Try a couple more! It gets marginally better. Weirder anyway. Jonah Hill remains awful though and...yeah...I think I mighta had Stockholm syndrome. WTF were they thinking casting that guy against Stone?

A part of me will always be struggling to get through S1 of Bloodline.
Saw that new Mendelssohn Netflick- he's pretty good. It is however yet another deal where middle aged white dude drymounts things up for everyone, gets laid/high, learns nothing.
