If it's directed by Mike Flanagan, it warrants a watch.

That's where my head is at. Probably give it go here tonight.

The Confession Tapes is very well put together and extremely drymounted up.

Bruce fit as drymount. Haha. Carla is a babe.

I enjoyed the fudge out of it. HATED the last few minutes but the rest of the flick is top notch.

Saw the first 2 episodes and it was great (and disturbing). I'm looking forward to checking out the rest.

Same. So glad to see Gugino in such an intense role.

But OH MAN the epilogue what?!

Definitely worth a watch, one of the best Netflix original movies I've seen. But, you know, just ignore the last 10 minutes.

I refuse to watch any movie that fugs up the ending.

While I know it was on Discovery Channel first, I didn't watch "Manhunt: Unabomber" until they put it up on Netflix, and my stars, was that ever amazing. Paul Bettany was astoundingly good. Highly recommend.

Also recently watched...

The Five - pretty good. Be prepared to cry.
American Vandal - hilarious and essential. Watch immediately.
Narcos S2 - amazing, as expected.
GLOW - loved it. Want S2 immediately.
Disjointed - I really wanted to love this, but I just can't do comedy shows with a laugh track/studio audience anymore.

I don't always have to turn away ... but in this one I most certainly did.

The ending was a bit odd, but was still a pretty solid flick overall.

Yep. I loved the movie. Was ready to declare it one of my favorite horror flicks of the year then that drymounting awful last 10 minutes happened. Everything that preceded it was sooo good that it doesn't ruin the movie but got damn that fudge was turrible. I know it was cathartic and all of that but NOPE.

Checkout patchwork if you haven't seen it. Caught it today and its a ton of fun.

I watched this but can't recall this ending you speak of. Think I passed out about 20 minutes before it ended. Need to reinvestigate.

If you're into (very) British comedy, Toast of London is gold.

Finally watched Gerald's Game. Same thoughts as most people here it seems. Thought it was great up until the ending which seemed kinda rushed/lazy? Idk, def didn't fit with the rest of the movie. Overall still worth a watch.
