AMC's "The Killing" just wasted 13 hours of my life

Film flames, episode episodes. Post lifetime is 1 year.

A question for you guys that have seen the Danish version: is it essentially the same plot as the American version? I'd love to watch it but if it's basically the same story and there will be no surprises I'd be kind of disappointed.

Me too. When Sarah Linden started losing her shit I thought the show got really interesting. The episode where she ends up in the psych ward on suicide watch was great, even if the plot twist that landed her there was particularly hard to believe. I I'd like to catch the original show, but I'm not gonna shell out $ to amazon UK. Maybe netflix will pick them up...

Don't see much of a need for a season 3 focused on new stuff, but it would be cool to get the back story referred to in season 2, of the earlier case she investigated that landed her in the psych ward. I'm curious to know more about that...

I only saw a handful of the US show but the first few episodes were sufficiently different to keep the interest up. Some of the characters are altered and the timeline is switched around a bit - I don't think it would be a disappointment.
