Oh my goodness!
Have you guys seen this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=319knAYr ... ata_player

Starts Oct 31 on AMC.
I love a good zombie story!
28 Days Later is my favorite. Danny nailed it! After watching the trailer for TWD, it starts just like 28DL in the Hospital.
Which creeps me out. Can you imagine if that happened to you?

Anyone read the comics? Should I pick them up comics?

Definitely.

There is a big omnibus that collects the first 48 issues.

Looking forward to it.

Having been a long time fan of the comics, I am highly anticipating this! Also it's been reported that it has already been picked up for another season!

Not only are the comics excellent, Frank Darabont is behind the show.

His version of The Mist is one of the best horror/suspense movies from the last 10 years easily. This series should be awesome.

The premier on Halloween night is hurting. Strange that they would air it on a night most people go out.

I'm thinkin' Tivo.
Doesn't AMC generally run their original programs a few times in the week? If yes you might be able to catch it later.

That's true.

I do think it's cool and fitting to have it around Halloween though.

This is not the real intro, but pretty outstanding. The guy that made this is very talented:

It seems like most places "celebrate" halloween on saturday when it falls on a sunday. I really don't think they'll lose too many viewers because of the holiday.

Very cool poster, Drew is the man! The only thing I don't like is the price point...

Regardless, I am so looking to the premiere of the first episode! Every preview I see during Mad Men makes me

It is pricey but it is also huge , relatively ltd & Drew Struzan ! My main worry would be how AMC package it .
