Can't stand this show. One of the worst on tv. The "hot" chick isn't even hot either.

I like "United States of Tara", but it's mainly because I have some respect for the lead actress.
However, one or two of the characters she takes on should be killed immediately.

oh, more good news/bad news.

"everybody hates chris got cancelled" and instead they are now torturing us with "brothers". super.

and WOW, ghostwhisperer really got renewed for a 5th season? wow. just wow.

did anybody see "the colony"? boring and morally wrong. way to go.

Watched the first episode of "CSI" today and I have to say, they got me. Solely by using Time Slice camera work (which is when you use a circular set-up of camera lenses that trigger together, thereby capturing all aspects of a single instance of movement). You then put all of these pieces together and edit them to get the finished product (in a 3D-esque environment).

Here is the scene:

It reminds me of one of my all-time favourite advertisements:

"Directed by Adam Berg, “Carousel” is a stunning video by Stink Digital and Tribal DDB that shows off what Philips’s new Cinema 21:9 television can do. Part of the campaign included creating an interactive version of the video with behind the scenes info. Director Adam Berg responded with an idea for an epic frozen moment cops and robbers shootout sequence that included clowns, explosions, a decimated hospital, and plenty of broken glass and bullet casings. This epic film is the centrepiece of the project. On its own, it clocks in at a (totally coincidental) two minutes and 19 seconds, but Berg conceived it to work as an endless loop."

I saw the first episode of Flash Forward this week - new to UK TV - it seemed pretty good but could get a bit 'rambling' after a while, there are 21 episodes to go in this series - should I set my Sky+ box (like TiVO) to record, or leave it.

Also being a bit sci-fi, what's Stargate Universe like? I've liked the other shows in the past, and the inclusion of Begbie has even got the bird interested, but is it any good?

This is assuming we in the UK are way behind the US when it comes to these TV series . . .

Thanks

Ha... that show looks so bad... and that's coming from someone who actually enjoys watching Monk.

Three Sheets is now on the Fine Living network if anyone watches that show. Some of the new season is also on HULU.
