Yeah announced back in march, seemed like it was gonna happen but I really liked that show and was such a well done period piece.RadRacing wrote:Just read The Knick has been cancelled
Plus Clive is a monster actor when he gets the right role.

Season 8 of Archer in the books...I enjoyed this season. I think it would be better served to almost watch all 8 in a row like a movie.
I'll second Fleabag. Def worth checking out.fredo wrote:Couple from A'zon:

Both solid as.
Do yourself a favour though and skip the other series 'Crashing' PWB put out last year (not to be confused with the HBO show of the same name)

Oh give it time. They will will sneak up on you. Can't justify spending the $$$ to get last season, so I am waiting with bated breath for it to go free for primes.Philpenn wrote:Finally getting around to starting The Americans. I've been on board with murderous Mafia bosses/methamphetamine manufacturers, but so far I'm rooting for the FBI.

New season of The Tunnel is wicked good so far. PBS mutes the curses though which would be ridiculous enough because of the violence and that we are adults, but it also ruins the ing flow of some ing swift dialogue.
just a foil for me today, thanks

Enjoying Snowfall so far.
Finished last night. Did you mean give it time, and I'd become pro Commie spy? If so, I did not.

Well, you at least learned a bit of trade craft. I actually meant that it took a few episodes before I realized how really good the show is.Philpenn wrote:Finished last night. Did you mean give it time, and I'd become pro Commie spy? If so, I did not.

Sept 21st, Nathan for You returns for a new season! Starts with a special featuring past guests (!). Ends with a two hour finale.
I cannot see him outdoing the finale (The Hero) from last season, but we shall see. There isn't much on TV that is funnier than this show.
A couple recent Rolling Stone pieces for anyone interested.
