I went in expecting the worst. Whilst it's nothing new or original, I found myself laughing my ass off for most of it. Childish and immature but what else did you expect - 6/10

Image
I expected more. if I was 15 I would think this was amazing probably. Just an insane unbelievable party, no real story - 4/10

Surprisingly terrible - Felt like a 10 minute skit drawn out to 77 minutes with 3 or 4 funny bits in it - 2/10

The Artist - Charming, but not amazing
Animal Kingdom - Really good
Wanderlust - Awful

I checked out Take Shelter last night...Pretty damn good if I do say so myself.
Michael Shannon nails the "losing his mind schizophrenic guy,' and the rest of the cast is pretty good as well.
Overall, a good movie to watch.

After seeing the musical and having a blast, I was worried from the second I heard they were making this a film. I still had a great time seeing it though. Having said that, it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea and will definitely polarise people one way or the other. I think it will become a cult film once people discover it on the after market. 6.5/10

Another amazing ensemble/terrible film, film - Never really gets out of first gear, only saved by the actors - 4/10

Yes it is that good and that much fun! To say any more would ruin the ride - Highly Recommended - 8.5/10

Image
Watchable, but predictable and exactly the sort of B-Grade detective movie you expect - 5/10

Image
Noir-ish ensemble cast, with very average results - 4/10

Image
Great Doco about the history of the Bhutto family, Pakistan and the whole region. Recommended - 7.5/10

I expected more from a Herzog & Bale team-up. Acting was great from Bale, Steve Zahn and Jeremy Davies. But the story while interesting was very A, B, C. 6/10

Image
Pretty good for a Vampire movie - shot in Australia with a Hollywood Budget - good cast - better than most - 6/10

I loved it. Probably my second favorite Wes Anderson movie.

I really enjoyed it too. Hardcore Wes Anderson, but in a good way.

I'd place it right behind Rush and Royal. Great film. The wife and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Wes has some unconventional characters, but what sets him apart is he knows who they are and what the hell they are doing.
