Just received A Dangerous Method from netflix yesterday...loving the Cronenberg/Mortensen Combo! :pint:

Finally watched A Dangerous Method this morning..always have been a Cronenberg fan and while this one doesn't quite feel like one of his films I dug it nonetheless..fascinating subject matter..7/10

Goes to show what a marketing campaign can do - this thing killed at the box office opening week. Why? Certainly not the film. Imagine Paranormal Activity but about an exorcism or two. Waaaaaaaay to short at 75 mins + credits. Well made and looks good, but nothing new to an already done to death genre. 4/10

Certainly an interesting exercise. It's hard going at times, but the final 10 minutes or so are riveting. Not everyone's cup of tea. 6/10

I remember watching my older sister cry during a Happy Days episode and thinking to myself "Good lord, really? It's Happy Days." I don't know if it's an age thing or decrease in testosterone but I crossed that emotional threshold a while back myself. Tonight i lost it when the gang took Grandma "for a walk" in Hesher.

Wanda: I can't stand people, I hate them. Do you hate them?
Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.

Just finished it. It was intense! Definitely one of the better horror films I've seen in awhile.

Glad you liked it! It's pretty darn intense at times, but also really quite amusing. Almost goes off the rails at one point but fortunately comes back for a great ending.
