Most of these movies aren't even worth watching and you are reviewing them too.

Bad Samaritan - It's this year's "The Snowman" (minus the A-List cast, production crew, and Scorcese.)

Upgrade was good, not great. Decent action, cliche story. If it was a Black Mirror ep it'd be one of the better ones.

Actually, reading that made me more interested in it. Momentarily.
The Snowman was amazing. In its own "wtf this is god awful" way

I'll be honest, it was slightly more entertaining than The Snowman but the made-for-cable-tv execution def killed it for me.

Going to see the new Ethan Hawke/Paul Schrader flick, "First Reformed", on Thursday. Anyone else seeing it?

It has been awhile since I have hated 2 movies as much as I hated Downsizing and Red Sparrow.

Not sure i'd go as far as hate - but they were both pretty underwhelming.

Checked out Anon the other day too - that was also underwhelming - https://letterboxd.com/film/anon/

Enjoyed Revenge though - https://letterboxd.com/film/revenge-2017-1/ - looked and sounded really good.

And Game Night was better than i thought it would be too - https://letterboxd.com/film/game-night/

I usually love the movies Payne directs, but this was a HUGE misstep

I agree, RED SPARROW was underwhelming and I was disappointed with it as I was rather looking forward to it based on the trailers. DOWNSIZING I haven't seen and don't see myself seeing anytime soon. It didn't interest me at all really.

DEADPOOL 2

The Merc with a Mouth is back and Ryan Reynolds was born to play him! As he did the first go around, Reynolds knocks it out of the park. Josh Brolin I wasn't crazy about when I heard the announcement that he'd be playing Cable but he did a good job. Between this and AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, he's on quite the hot streak at the box office recently. I enjoyed the Domino character, even if they did make fun of her quite a bit with her superpower being luck. The film started of well, plenty of jokes to go around. I felt it dragged a little in the middle but recovered nicely towards the end. Quite a few surprises made their way onscreen which I was happy with. There are scenes during the credits but nothing after! 7/10
