Hereditary: Creepy horror flick that killed at SXSW, trailer looks bananas. The film has some striking imagery which could lead to some cool looking posters. Release date is in June.

Agreed. Visually impressive, but the story wasn't there IMO

Did you guys see the two prints that were made for the film? One is done Katsuhiro Otomo..

As others have mentioned, Isle of Dogs was good, not great. It looked fantastic, and had some funny moments. It's worth seeing but not on the level of Fantastic Mr. Fox or Grand Budapest IMO.

Been busy as of late and just not big into the superhero stuff. (I don't think I have it in me to sit through any more of these things.) Silly to throw shade though just 'cause it's not my thing... I hope it lives up to folks expectations.

i love the marvel flicks. but agree that just because a bunch of people like them doesn't mean they are for everyone.

i kinda hate the 'WHAT YOU JUST HAVEN'T SEEN THE RIGHT ONES' reaction when people say that.

Ramen Heads is a solid culinary doc. I highly recommend filling up on the stuff before watching it.

Not yet, I don't think. Here's a list of screenings:

https://www.ramenheadsfilm.com/screenings

It's not really an all-encompassing doc on ramen, more of a personal look at the reigning 'Ramen King' of Japan, Osamu Tomito, his shop, and his dedication to his 'art.' Jiro dreams of sushi, Tomito dreams of ramen.

I'm a total sucker for culinary docs - which is weird because I'm a super picky eater and don't eat most of that stuff.
