Please do as I'm curious

The only Alamo in AZ isn't that close to me, so I mainly just go for Thursday night showings or special event stuff, which means I gotta buy my tickets in advance because of sell out, but that means I can't use MP.

But an ATX cat filled me in on this little hack: (Ticket is pre-bought in advance with my own money) when I'm at the theater, I check into whatever movie is playing close to mine, then walk up to the counter and buy a gift card for $11.32 (after 18:00 price for me; might be different at other Alamos).

And boom, you know have a gift card for food, beer, or you can even use it on Alamo's site for future screenings.

Yes. Paul. First page, he says he used it for Dunkirk in 3D twice.

Or did you mean the above "hack" that is difficult to understand I guess unless you have MP

Ha, basically I use my own money for the movie ticket (since I have to buy in advance) and use MP for a gift card.

EDIT: Cleaned up my OG post.
