Everything about the pilot was great and I'm looking forward to seeing how the showrunners will steer the show.

Oh, and just like David, I'd totally like to get inside Rachel Keller.

*Wait, did I just say that out loud?*

And as an X-men comic reader, the yellow-eyed demon totally reminds me of The Shadow King

... or Mojo

that was my thought as well, it would be a cool rendition of him.

I have to agree. The art direction and cinema photography is truly spectacular.

Still digging it, but we've kinda hit a wall with this memory analysis/fat guy with yellow eyes thing.

2 episodes in. There will not be a third. Just plays like an Xmen movie for the small screen that revels in only giving tiny bits of information at a time and jamming as many flashbacks/forwards/sideways at you as possible. I'll probably binge it once there is a whole season to watch but I grow weary of these shows/movies you have to "figure out."

Huge bonus points for use of music; that Up the Beach scene gave me chills.

This thing is teetering on just being a gimmick.

Have to agree. Started off WAY above my expectations but had kind of settled back down to slightly above mediocre the last two episodes.

I have a feeling this is where it picks up. Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords was a nice surprise.

I'm enjoying the ride. Seems to be picking up and is revealing just enough info to make me feel like maybe I understand where it's going and yet still surprising me.

Keep noticing octopus imagery in the background. Not sure if that means anything. Just found it curious.

Could be a coincidence but I noticed the ex-girlfriend's earrings looked an awful lot like the ladder he climbed up to get into the ice cave.

A motif for sure. Time will tell if it means anything more
