Taboo is finally here - and deserving of its own thread.

1st episode (Shovels and Keys) was pretty good and tom hardy definitely has the 'mumbling, brooding tough guy with secrets' character mastered.
It will be interesting to see how the remainder of the season unfolds.

I have to admit that I have no idea what is going on or where the show may be heading. I am willing to give it some more time. I did end up enjoying that showtime show with Frankenstein and wolfman and vampires and Eva Green's outstanding breasts. This one better get some nice boobs in it soon.

After watching episode 3 I'm getting into it more. The story is a slow burn. Really great cast either way IMO.
The Prince/King is disgusting.

I love it, but I find it hard to understand Hardy at times.

Me too. I find myself turning on closed captioning with this show.
