Lols at Jack Nicholson getting Paramount to secure rights to a Toni Erdmann remake. WTF.

Still haven't seen Erdmann. But I'm sure that the remake is as eye-rolling-inducing as it seems

John Wick Chapter 2 was a blast! The first trailer before the film was for Phoenix! That was a bit unexpected. They bringing that to theaters a couple years later? lol Was cool to see up there regardless.

Enjoyed John Wick 2 quite a bit. It really shouldn't be as good as it is, as its basically the same exact movie right down to him repeating the "I'm back" line, but they could probably make 10 "chapters" of John Wick killing people and it would still be fun.

lego batman was okay. guess i was expecting something more like the lego movie, just wasn't as invested as i was in the first one and i didn't find the humor to be as good. seemed to be trying too hard at times.

Saw Split with the fiancée and enjoyed the cinematography of the film. :2thumb: M. Night art direction of horror flicks takes it to another level :!:

I thought it was a lot better than the Lego movie. The suicide squad joke was funnier than anything in the Lego movie.

finally watched Arrival last weekend, thought it was good. definitely some things that happened are still up in the air for me and I have to rewatch a few times to grasp it.
