After the credits, there is an extra scene with William and his daughter. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone missed it.

Almost finished - the livebetaWestworld is pretty damned goofy/convenient. Still a'ight though.

What a beautiful show. Loved the finale. Total mind drymount, but in a good way. :notworthy:

Thought the finale was great. Looking forward to see where they go in season 3. So many possibilities.

Reading an interview with Nolan, sounds like season 3 might be another longer wait.

I felt there were some pacing issues and the finale was a tad expository, but not to its detriment. S1 > S2 by a nose

Only a little bit. The one that bugged me slightly was when Hale explicitly called out that Clementine was death (on the pale horse). "I love technology, why have four horsemen, when one will do". But that was easily forgivable. :D

Of course, Radiohead at the end capped things off beautifully.

I felt it was messy, but overall satisfying. I do feel like Maeve's story line ended (?) poorly.

She would have gotten infected was my guess? The whole ending with the door was an amazing idea and visually looked fantastic, but so poorly executed. Are all those hosts so stupid that they couldn't see what was happening and that they needed to run to the door? Did all that "look like nothing to them" ?

I did LOVE how Maeve's final words were I Love You. Just simple and understated.

Unlike Tom's demise which was Hollywood big and stupid as drymount. He had allowed them to escape, why would he then still kill himself?

Overall, a quality show with S1 being better than S2 IMO right now. But the whole thing warrants a rewatch, most likely when it starts to get cold out again. : )

Looked like nothing to humans. I think it was that, before the hosts understood what was needed/going on, Clem had run in and cause chaos. Again, poorly executed.

Also, the "door" was only accessible in Westworld? Not Shogun or Raj? Or the other 3 parks we haven't seen?

Maeve should have been able to use her Neo powers and see Charlotte Hale/ Delores for who she was, right?

I don't think any of their interactions took place after the body swap?

Not sure why Clementine had to ride all the way down the line to spread the virus. The hosts are on a mesh network, so when she infected the host at the back of the line, it should have spread way faster than the horse. Probably so Hale could do the 4 horsemen comment and it was more cinematic.

Watching the finale tonight, but the exposition was my main beef with eps 8-9 - long explanations/history lessons in lieu of dynamic plot unfoldingness.
Still pretty interesting and the plot developments are solid where they happen.
