But he LOVES the show Big Brother, and premixed margaritas in foil packs.

Finished it late last night. Definitely that quickest I've ever binged a show. It's fantastic. It one up'd Super 8. It's what I wanted Super 8 to be. Super 8 was not bad but it was not very entertaining (and quite honestly, the fat kid ruined the movie, imo).

So many nods to classics in Stranger Things. It was a blast picking them out (and I'm sure I missed a ton). It was like a best of King/Spielberg/Koontz/Carpenter/Cronenberg etc. Killer score to boot.

Just finished it up this afternoon, definitely the fastest I've binge watched a show too. It's so drymounting good, can't wait for the next season.

Man how you gonna go out of your way to highlight the creature effects from The Thing and then have the creature in your show be some CGI Resident Evil lookin nonsense.

PS: the dudes who made this show also made a horror flick called Hidden that is insanely good.

Just finished it up. LOVED the show. 80's nostalgia at it's finest. A great story and a killer score. Looking forward to what comes next.

I think it's only 8 episodes, might be worth just sticking out? Personally I've been really enjoying it since the start, currently on episode 5. What do you not like so far?

Little bit spoilery below but... references... (if you haven't watched the whole season, you might want to skip reading)...

Tons of nods, obviously but...am I crazy thinking the scene where the science teacher is explaining the Acrobat and the Flea, when Dustin (Toothless) clasps his hands together near his face... Jaws reference? That and the chief's vehicle. I might have gotten a little obsessive trying to pick up references...may have made some up haha...

Definitely adds to the rewatchability of the show...
