Anyone else watch the pilot last night? I think it has the potential to be something pretty good. Although I don't know if I like Christian Slater as Mr. Robot.

I watched it a couple nights ago. Good show. I just read it was already picked up for a second season before it even aired. The full 1st episode was available on YouTube from USA Network. I think they took it down once it premiered on regular TV last night. looks like some others still have it up on there though.

If you need weights to flatten posters. Make your own using penny rolls - it's inexpensive. Just throw them into a ziplock or something similar. Non-organic and there is no risk getting an infestation (grain bugs).

Matrixy hero's journey type of TV show with Portia Doubleday. I'm in. :pint:

Was pretty into it until the last 15-20 minutes. Will continue to watch. Always liked Slater for some reason. Main dude's mad grey race too.

Just watched it. Liked it a lot. Love the sneaky way they inserted his POV into what'd otherwise be objective facts to hint that maybe this is all in his head -- like the way the Times Square subheads read "Evil Corp" even though cable news would never air that. It's like Fight Club, only, with code instead of fighting.

But "oh what a lonely life casually drymounting the cute girl trying to give me free opiates" kinda doesn't fly. Lol.

I hated Slater as an underground techy. Just didn't seem to fit, will see how it goes.

I agree, he's getting uglier as he ages. there is a google panel on youtube where the host says he's a great mix of creepy and cool. he is just creepy!

but I love the show. it's def a mix of matrix, fight club, blackhat. think Elliot's character is great and hope the show continues to be good. Writer said that show has a def end, maybe 4-5 seasons max, 10 eps each, so its hopefully it doesn't jump the shark!

Love the idea of the show, but I cringe everytime I see Slater. I wish they had cast someone else.
But his role is intriguing, I'm still wondering if he's real or not.
