Rogue One is a vanilla/mediocre sci-fi movie covered with a Star Wars skin.

Saw the midnight IMAX showing when it first came out and don't remember having that much fun watching a movie in a long time. I think the movie really captures old Star Wars magic, especially with the final battle on/above Scariff - really made me feel like a kid again.

Great SW film, my favorite since the originals.

As much as I wanted Cassian and Jyn + crew to get out alive, I thought the way the movie ended was beautiful. Really drives home that unsung hero if war idea, giving your life to a cause even if you might not be remembered.

I loved Rogue One, particularly in that it back filled the story that was told in ANH. It also showed the rebellion in a more realistic light, where they did bad things to survive and had factions within the group, and weren't all perfect and righteous.

As for Force Awakens, it was enjoyable, but it'll never be as good as the OT, primarily since the plot parallels ANH too much. They really need to get away from the whole sith vs jedi, mega weapons, and the rebellion verse the empire concepts and come up with some original stories.

Like anyone isn’t going to watch it. Or be able to avoid seeing it or parts of it for over two months.

Yeah, what happened to after the trailer? Luckily my friend was able to lock down the last two seats in the back row for 6 pm IMAX show.

I think "after the trailer" is more of a guideline

Got some good seats for Friday 7pm Imax. The earliest showing on Thurs is 9:15, which seems later than usual.

I got the same thing too for 6pm - it's in IMAX but only 2-D but the next IMAX showing in the same theatre at 940 is 3-D...strange there would be a difference
