Jeez there’s a lot of people out there allergic to fun.

I thought the movie was great, lots of fun. Did it need to be made? No. Am I happy it exists? Absolutely.

Heard rumors are all other spinoffs are being held off or cancelled outright now.

Which still leaves like at least 5 Star Wars movies in the pipeline.

[Disney has] amassed a terrifying 42% cut of the domestic market share...[and is] about to acquire Fox for $71 billion in cash and stock, that gives Disney a 58% market share in 2018 domestic box office.

Really shows how Lucas was saved by his editors on OT and his free reign in prequel trilogy showed his limitations.

I read that Topher Grace has made numerous fan edits of various Star Wars films/scenes. Would love to see some of his other work after seeing that.

He actually cut the whole first trilogy down to one long-ass movie that didn't suck, and said he'd never screen it again after the one time he showed it to friends/family/industry folk.

Rewatched Episodes VII and VIII recently (hadn't seen THE LAST JEDI since the theaters and my Blu-Ray copy has been just sitting there). I know how divisive this film is and for me, other than the Rey/Kylo/Luke storyline, the rest of the film is a bore. I was then and still am today upset that they didn't give any background about the Snoke character (although a tiny part of me is still holding out hope something will be explored in Episode IX). But I could care less about the Rose/Finn storyline, and Poe/Leia storylines I was indifferent to. Curious how they wrap it up in the next one but they've got some making up to do for the last effort.
