I have my moments. Side note: if anyone is gonna be out in deer creek or alpine this week for the lovely Phish, hit me up. Cheers and thanks for all the HK love, ebean folks.

Brian, how much cooking experience did you have before the show?

I've been an executive chef for 7 years, in the business for 9. Ran multi million dollar places, owned my own restaurant and now do private events in peoples homes. I've been around.

Perfect description. This show is pretty awful, just curious to see how far the op gets. Someone from the red team is definitely winning this. Not to mention there's literally nothing else on at 8.

Just watched a bit of this season, intrigued by this thread. They didn't like the foam idea, eh?
I thought the whole presentation looked quite fine...but I'm not a fashion designer.

So even though I'm pretty sure I know the answer I gotta ask: Brian, do they shoot that horrible opening sequence (your spoon bending is not that embarrassing by the way) before any actual filming of the contest begins? I always hoped they shot it after and I'll catch some glimpse of a silent tear or half grimace/smile from one of the losers.

I'm going to predict that brian makes it to the finals. No way he's going anywhere with those donut's in the kitchen
