Yay, I know this was a bit underwhelming on design, but happy to acknowledge that this is my first "direct" mondo purchase and it shall be going up in the office for a few months before the next rotation. New to all of this, but wow some of these prints are commanding a high price on ebay. I would have never thought their was such an extreme market for flipping prints and posters until I joined here.

Newscasts note Holmes had a Batman poster on the wall of his apartment. Wonder which one.

He then went back to his booth grabbed a ladder and stacked them on top of a 10 ft. tall rack of anime toys. As I got closer I noticed the stack of prints wasn't just of DKR but of every MondoCon drop and multiples of of each.

Good times!

Yeah, that's the guy.

Variant woulda been awesome, I had a friend waiting for us in the area that happened to be the Mondo drop line. My other friend rolled up and asked why he was in line (as he's not a poster fan) and he said "oh no, I'm not" and stepped out. Two seconds later Justin posts up the print.

We yelled at him later. :hanging:

I got mine today when I got home from work. I the print was lacking definition on batman or mondo was being cheap on ink. I can hardly see the bottom face. The lettering looks clean and all but it seemed a little shy on the ink is all. I want my money back!!!

IWhen I first saw your comment I thought you were being a bit picky with your poster review, but the print was printed way too dak and you can hardly see Batman's mouth, the left side of his cape, or some of the letters in The Dark Knight Rises.

It definitely doesn't look like the jpeg they used to sell the poster:

You would think they would have done more test runs or proofs to get a better print job on this since they were doing so many. :?

This image is from the EB image gallery and was most likely taken with a flash to bring out the lost features.

The poster is OK, but they look like they could have done a much better job on it.

It looks like 3 colors. Black, very dark blue, and gray in the credits.

Got mine yesterday. It also had some issues with the printing it seems. I can BARELY make out that Batman even has a mouth. And my letters are even harder to make out than the other example posted. The T and H in THE are almost impossible to read if you didn't know what it was supposed to say, and DARK K and RIS are all more black than the color the letters are in the image showing the poster, then all of a sudden NIGHT and ES are full color.

REALLY disappointed with how this came out, and it looks crappy compared to what they had on their site and what I saw at Comic-Con. I bought it to put in my office, but I'm not sure what I'll do with it now.

I was disappointed to read that the reg version has a blue hue. I actually liked what I saw in the original Mondo jpeg that was posted - looking more like blacks and greys were used. Along with all the other printing issues we're hearing about, I'll keep my expectations low.
