I can't stand the Pearl Jam version of that song and after hearing the Willie Nelson version of it I'd have to say it was the arrangement because I really like the cover. And there is absolutely nothing country about Carrie Underwood or 99% of the other modern country artists today. It's just bad 70s rock with a fiddle or steel guitar thrown in.
