BTW, that is just no ordinary grenadier guard, that's Prince Philip. Hence, I was surprised with the amount of thought given to this work.
Ah, nice catch on the use of Prince Philip. It does add another level to the print.

IMHO it's pieces like this that keep the MBW / Banksy conversation alive.

Not taking any credit, Kneel pointed that one out earlier in this thread.

No, it's really not. It's one sided conversations posts like this that keep it alive.

Glad you enjoy the print, hang it!

Thanks! It will be going on my wall.

Sorry, but I thought this was a discussion forum, from the tone of your post it sounds like you'd prefer people not talk about the MBW / Banksy thing?

I clearly said "IMHO" and I definitely didn't shut anyone else's opinion down or intend for my posts to be one sided, feel free to add your views to the conversation if you want. I've never said I know anything "for sure" except that I have to pay taxes and I'll die one day.

If you feel like there's no way Banksy is involved with MBW then I respect your opinion, maybe you could respect mine?

Peace :pint:

If you want a Banksy/MBW conversation there's 688 pages of it here - http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... 32&t=28011

Technically speaking, this thread is for discussing the release of Jubilation - when it goes up, how MBW's site crashes, frustrations with paypal, shipping estimates, arrivals, etc. If you want to talk about the art itself I'd suggest you use this thread:

Seems to me a release discussion thread should be just fine for continuing to discuss the merits of the print relevant to the release if some are so inclined.

I've got to agree. After all, it was just an opinion. How DARE someone bring up a subject that veers off from the original post's intent....like it doesn't happen in almost every other thread around or or on any other forums.

Nice photos! I need to look at this more closely. I was in a hurry when I first unrolled it and haven't gone back to it. From fist glance I was impressed with it. :)

Jim
He's just cranky because of all the money he spent on art the last few weeks.

Wait, there's a connection between MBW and Banksy?

Is Shepard Fairey or Invader involved as well?
