I think ANY old fart like me remembers vividly the black & white album cover for Humble Pie's self-titled record album back around 1970. That's the image of the Humble Pie entry in this offering....

that one is a little before my time, but certainly is a very cool image. I really dig a couple of the Zeppelins too.

So, in looking at that 2008 thread, I know jojo and lightyears and boatingbenny were in the fray when the skull test prints went up for ~$1k. What's been the scoop between then and now, guys? Have any traded or sold? Have they stayed "pure" for 3.5 years? I don't know how I totally missed that drop, so you'll understand that I'm coming from a different place than y'all when 11 more quantity are added to the world supply of this offering, especially at such a relatively attractive price.

There's only one print marked as sold, which is one of the Humble Pie prints. I went after the Goddess version 12, which the purchase link is still active after my transaction was completed... smells like oversells.

I guess the assumption was that they were 1/1. They look to be editioned. Looks like 21 of each.

I know that Emek does lots of variants on his images, but it sounds to me like what you see for sale on these metals is what there is.

from what I remember, Peter is just creative & curious and into experimenting with the anodizing process. I doubt he would start playing around with anyone's image without some initial contact. there is a link between VanHamersveld & Fairey ( http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/126808 ), so that gave me enough of a connection to feel comfortable in making an exploratory purchase.

I agree, but I also recognize that there is a generational gap in computer literacy/comfort.
same goes for a lot of hands on creative type of folks.
