The place to discuss and anticipate new art releases.

Eh... I wouldn't be surprised. Which sucks. We need to come up with a counter strategy to lower the prices. We can tell everyone that the prints were contaminated by a virulent strain of airborne cancer. That might get the prices down to... $500?

That was my first thought. Its getting harder and harder to trust eBay lately. Does millertime have an alibi for what he was doing an hour ago?

The weight of a newly released Moss print in ounces is currently worth 10x the price of an ounce of silver. Let that sink in.

(don't dig into my research too much, I may or may not be slightly intoxicated)

Line full at 10:30AM

Opportunity cost at 850 = 82.11 Per hour if this was the last person in line.

Time for Chicken wings and sleep...

PS. Mine is tucked away. 8)

For one, if it sold for $850 then why did one sell for $650 less than an hour later?

Anyways...see this is fishy:
eBay 200712149986

then this one

eBay 190639108791

After the last G88 show... How long did it take for Olly to release his own? Was it days, weeks?

And I'm all about the eBay theories. Love a good whodunit conspiracy.

We will see where the bidding auctions end up. I just don't think that $850 should be counted as Olly uses ebay averages to price his sales. If donks are fake driving up prices then that means it will cost all of us more when we try for Olly's stash. :hanging:

What a bullshit drop.

People getting there as early as 11pm-midnight to camp out all night and hang with the crackheads of Los Angeles. I'm sure they were all bundled up around the fire of the crack pipe to stay warm. Seriously though, the way G1988 did it this time is a kick in the face. You don't take a list at 10AM and then give people the option to leave the line and go about their business like normal as long as their back in time by opening to purchase. You're either fully dedicated or not. I'm sure that list had some people filling in extra names for their friends who would meet up with them later in line.

Ah well, it's just a piece of paper. At least Rhys Cooper's Double Dragon was a easy score and damn is it bad ass. The glow effect is spot on. Hidden little graphics in the border that sell the piece more than it already does. DKNG print is a good framer too. Perfect for any game room.
