1. The listing said "PERFECT CONDITION!!!!", and the damage wasn't that visible unless you closely studied the photographs. I'm assuming most people were bidding on it, assuming it was mint as stated.
2. For all we know, yours could be damaged.
3. There is not a chance in hell you are getting anywhere near $3K for that monstrosity anytime soon.

You know, I've been rather polite about your opinion, I get it...you don't like it and I'm half bending to agree with you that it's not the best frame choice. Say something useful that adds to the discussion instead of hiding behind a screen and repeating what others have pointed out. You do know you can re-frame a piece, right? I'm sure you do, after all; making posts on a forum suddenly qualifies you as an expert.
