Kind of interesting one of the better posters lately is for a fair...for the 9 people living in Oregon this is a sweet deal!

I know you are joking but the fair is huge, thousands of people attend... fudge I would guess that there are 1000 people that work the fair with vendors and all.

The best part is when the fair closes to the public they sweep it out and it stays open all night so those working can party til the doors open again.

Best poster of the year from him...love the whole concept. The stream running into the aquifer is just great.

if you search "Emek Oregon County Fair" on Google, it comes up on Inside The Rock Poster Frame.

Worth the wait. Check out the GD Field Trip from '72 on video. Those were the days! If you remember them.

Pretty sure this is not coming out as a screenprint. I scored this the other day at a fair party. Its just going to be put out as Emeks image with fair info on the bottom. The one that goes up in store windows all over Oregon. Im bummed out about not having a nice one like the Dead Gorge one come out. The fair is strict with all the rules.

I am not sure about that... I suspect there will be a higher end print be it screen print, glicee or something

Emek had to have some say in it for him to do it and I suspect he would not have made this art for it to solely be a cheap litho and flier

Plus I know for sure that Emek will be selling his copies later this summer

I too am hoping that there will be a screenprint of this one. In the meantime, these posters have been posted in almost every shop window/counter in Eugene:

Kind of cool to see Emek's work in the most unexpected places.
