Adrift 11 Geddes Release Discussion 03/31/11
maybe i'm misremembering but i think i recall seeing these pop up in the hook up thread this time last year ~ $300
absolutely crazy to believe, given where we're at now with these things
EDIT: in addition to the adrifts, just searched the old hookup thread - the street was offered at $175 - and then apparently one buyer flaked so it was put back up again!
if we had time machines...

I'm drawn to no. 57. Not kidding. The no. 1 of any print would be sweet. The last number is pretty cool to me as well.treweman wrote:Although I know that it is silly and not very rational, I am drawn to number 1. Not a low number, but just the number 1. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but there it is. I might pay a small premium for the number, but not hundreds of dollars.
Every morning I awake as someone else.
I remember having a chance to buy just after their bankruptcy scare. Thought about it but passed.papergigantes wrote:i would have bought apple stocks when it was in the 300's! stacks on stacks would be a reality right now, fawwwkejg904 wrote:if we had time machines...

Sold mine for $300.
No regrets. Who knew you guys would create such a hype machine.
I'm rather impressed.

i absolutely wasn't making fun of people for selling them as hook ups or anything like that. who could have ever seen this coming?ottomatik71 wrote:Sold mine for $300.

it was more just a remark about how exponential the growth has been - not a dig at all.
we've all been on the wrong side of the sales - not trying to pour salt on the wound, just an observation
