Yup he has a damaged APV for sale as well. Shipping a $1900 print out doesnt sit well with me. Better use a metal tube.

maybe i'm misremembering but i think i recall seeing these pop up in the hook up thread this time last year ~ $300

absolutely crazy to believe, given where we're at now with these things

EDIT: in addition to the adrifts, just searched the old hookup thread - the street was offered at $175 - and then apparently one buyer flaked so it was put back up again!

if we had time machines...

I remember having a chance to buy just after their bankruptcy scare.

Thought about it but passed.

i absolutely wasn't making fun of people for selling them as hook ups or anything like that. who could have ever seen this coming?

it was more just a remark about how exponential the growth has been - not a dig at all.

we've all been on the wrong side of the sales - not trying to pour salt on the wound, just an observation
