I think the benefit is mostly the fact that its thicker stock and the ink doesn't get as absorbed into the paper as much. But I do not know if that is actually true or just my perception of the printing process.

I'm very happy with how the paper shows through on the "white" clouds. It was also a decision we went back and fourth with, and wasn't made easily. Between the group and speaking with the printer, I think we made the correct choice. Besides, there's not ink there (thats how Kilian drew it) and I think the paper gives a wonderful touch, as opposed to being stark white paper.
i just pulled this out today. and just wanted to say damn this is a good print.
