The only thing surprising about this is that Rob isn't using tiered pricing.halftonegraphics wrote:up again. http://robliefeldcreations.com/shop/pri ... b-liefeld/

Maybe the Art gods were not kind to him for forgetting to give proper credit to the person who created those Mondo Deadpool pins when he was hawking them. Has any other artist done more to ruin his poster's long term value? Had he just signed on the border and dropped one tweet when they were available, his whole run would have gotten gobbled up IMO. But these "Staggered releases" to "Meet Demand" are killing any kind of hype, again IMO. I'd love for a more seasoned collector to chime in and drop some knowledge.

I think you all care way too much about what he does with his allocation of posters. He must have really drymounted up comics to receive the hatred he does

It's more because he spent the nineties acting like an A-list celebrity while actively ignoring the fact that his art was wildly inconsistent and usually sub-par. And he always wore his hat backwards.Cinlabyrinth wrote:I think you all care way too much about what he does with his allocation of posters. He's made great contributions and bad contributions to comics. I would go so far as saying he saved Cap from being irrelevant. I would also say Ray Charles would have a better take on illustrated human anatomy than Rob on a bad day. But I've never seen anyone kill their hype for a Poster like this. The Mitchell Deadpool portraits still move on The Bay but his posters have stopped cold and I was looking for some insight.

Looks like his APs are landing. Long tubes, No kraft, dinged prints.
