Also still holds true.

Hello

I wanted a very simple framework to showcase this poster : the print floating in a canvas floater frame of the same color as the wall.

If the result is simple, the implementation has been more complicated. the canvas floater frames are intended to install a canvas or a photo sticked on dibond.
Of course I did not want to stick the poster on dibond and I wanted to protect it.

I had to do a first setting called in French a "sous-verre". A glass mount with the poster between a cardboard acid-free and a museum glass (without reflection) with a strip of peripheral sticky paper.
it is this glass mount which is then mounted in the canvas floater frame like a canvas. The print is well protected with a great color rendering. It is completely reversible, I can recover the poster as new.

I like this kind of framework and I made the same for the « 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea 17 Ansin ». Yesterday I took the « Mulholland Drive 15 Tong - Variant » to the framer for the same job.

Herve.
