Fantastic photos Bluecow. The detail of each individual butterfly is pretty amazing.

...and now I will be anxious until mine arrives undamaged.

I wish everyone would just use Yazoo tubes. A box of 10 yazoo tubes is roughly $48...which is MORE THAN WORTH IT

I'm getting to the point where when I'd almost rather send people empty Yazoo tubes with prepaid labels in them and paying all the shipping costs individually rather than sitting around and praying that there won't be a huge dent in the tube once it arrives thanks to a seller not worrying enough about the rolled up piece of paper they are dropping into the stream of commerce

I fear for anyone who lives outside of the US on this particular print...please report your results.

Fingers crossed I guess.

Is Josh requiring signatures on these? Mine is scheduled to arrive today, and I am not sure I can be home when it arrives.

According to another member I asked this morning, no. There was no signature required.

With a $250+ print I would think Josh would make absolutely sure there could be no possible way of damage. I hope mine comes unscathed.

No. UPS guy just left mine on my porch (a day earlier than the scheduled delivery date, too).

Got mine today - first Keyes, so psyched. It's truly incredible.

Anyone have some frame-up ideas for this one? At first I was going to do the all-white routine (mat and frame)...then was thinking maybe double matted with a green or blue as the secondary mat. Would like to hear some thoughts. My walls are light-colored so I'm thinking the all-white probably is a bad choice.
Cheers

my experience (framing tiny showcase prints) is that the white on white is phenomenal for keyes because of they way he uses white space and the bright colors. it really makes the image pop. but using an inner mat different color will make whatever color you want to pop. i prefer the clean white on white but mixing it up can look amazing. just go through the keyes frame up thread and get ideas!
ps- im so drymounting jealous
