Haha, ok, I get that. Considering I had to steal a sharpie from JustinB, I don't know how many other people were prepared to get a sig. Come back for Fantastic Fest -- he was here last year (I got a pic with him and Dominic Monaghan!), and from what I've heard he attends almost every year.

There was an EW signed regular on Ebay a while ago, but not anymore.

I acutally don't feel to beat up for heading straight to the parking lot. Randal (Clerks II) was so right, that movie had like 10 endings, good god. Still a great movie, but i was ready to just go home...

No I did not.

Did you sit outside for 11+ hours and get half of your face sunburned so now you look like Two-Face?

Oh, and this guy was carrying 4-5 tubes as he left the theater immediately after the film, by the way.

You're doing it wrong. You should've brought your own chair and one of those sun-mirrors.

Bummed I didn't get to meet you last night...next time.

This is very confusing to me. In my eyes, everything went quite smoothly. The lineup (albeit mostly organized by those in line). variant sales, and print distribution all seemed to be very efficient and fast.

I've been to plenty of events with way less organization. Things can always be ironed out, sure, but to act like this was some insane mess is a bit much, agreed?

Agreed.
Also, as usual, for some reason a lot of the complaining comes from people that weren't there... :?:

It was very efficient to me, the line going to the theater and to the posters was pretty fast. Trying lining up to a shoe release and you'll get a good idea of what chaos is.

As they continue to grow, if they plan to, they will have to address some of the issues brought up to be successful. I don't think anyone is blowing it out of proportion, because no one is saying that any of the issues ruined the event for them. Multiply the attendees by 10 or 20, and they will become event killers for a lot of people.

Improving their event management now is an investment in a bright future. Not some admittance that they suck at their jobs or something.

Ya I dont see what the big problem was either. I felt everything was as smooth as can be. I know I heard some people say that the Alamo employees showed up too late w/the cart w/glasses of water, but honestly if u were really thirsty, then you should have been smart enough to go inside and ask for one. Not pointing at Mixta2x, just saying this in general, but I tend to see the most complaining comes from people who didnt attend the event.
