Just to confirm what I already think, but its pretty much impossible to pull of SDCC at this point correct? Some family members were throwing around the idea of going just recently and I thought it was all done quite a while ago. I'm of course the one told to figure it out...

There is still a small glimmer of hope for tickets if that is what you are looking for. My wife signed up for a member ID after the last ticket drop and just received an email saying they will do one last sale of passes sometime next week (after the holiday weekend)!

Interesting. Thank you for the info. Looks like the ID signup is closed right now until "after online badge resales are complete." Maybe after that? Who knows. It'd be fun to go but its obviously not a priority if I haven't done it already :? Next year though. Always wanted to go, it just seems so daunting at SD.

Man, I hadn't even come NEAR this thread until now. Didn't want to depress myself.

Good news is, looks like I've scored a last-minute press badge for the full Con. Would be coming in preview night, leaving on Saturday. Will know for sure Tues/Wed, but it's looking like a 99% done deal at the moment.

Now, if you're excuse me, I need to read through this thread and see what I've missed. Please tell me someone already bothered organizing a "cocaine-and-chicks-dressed-as-slave-leia" party...?

For those that are still trying to grab badges, looks like the resale will begin on May 31st, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT). Apparently an email was just sent out.

Troof. So I realy, really REALLY drymounting want to grab 4 single day passes. Now I know that no one can PB for me in the conventional sense, you need to log in with my member ID. But would having multiple people trying to log in/purchase as me benefit me in any way or would that drymount me over?

If anyone can offer any tips, advice, or even detail exactly how the purchase works (this is my first attempt at SDCC badges), please PM me as I would be super grateful. I really, really want to attend this and would be beyond stoked if I could score all 4 day passes. Thanks for any help!

There is a SDCC EB meet up thread started already. Might want to move any planning ops over there. People on that list that are not on this one.
