Still looking for some hotel help. No luck on the first round.

Anyone get a hotel? I somehow got shipped off to a hotel that's not even on the shuttle route.

I originally got the Marriott, but then traded with someone to get the Hard Rock.

It was rough this year. First year I didn't get something in my top 6. Scrambling to get something downtown now. On Peak is always the most questionable aspect of SDCC.

I entered the selection screen at 9:05am, and never heard anything about any of my choices. Kind of a bummer.

I got Omni but I was the only one in my group, so I've got three people in our group beggin' us for floor space that I'm going to begrudgingly offer.

They really need to look into this hotel stuff. None of it makes any sense.

I don't understand this. I originally was 7 minutes away, but then traded with someone to be 6 minutes away

Not about the distance, all about the facilities.
Love the rooms and staff at Hard Rock. Plus have met so many people simply from being in the hard rock like 2 years ago running into Will Smith which is one of my all time SDCC highlights. Oh yeah and the hotel has top of the line parties that we have been able to walk into simply because we were staying at the hotel, last years party had Big Boi performing at it...

Ended up getting the Westin. Which isn't great but hoping I can grab something closer on the waitlist.

I’m locked and ready with hotel already and getting mentally ready for the con. Mondo line each year has gotten progressively worse, last year it was just a free-for-all to form the line. Tyler Stout I think will be there for a signing and who knows what else, Edmiston will be there as well, and a few others as well.

I lived in SD for a few years if anyone needs any tips on food or fun.

What makes you think that? I would be very surprised if that were the case.
