Stars were not in my favor.

Enjoyed checking out all the photos. here and on instagram. Thanks PEACEDOG.

Anyone want to tell me more about what was going on at the Stanley Mouse booth?

Thanks.

^^I found this badass 1986 Stanley Mouse litho for Siouxsie and the Banshees at the Print Mint booth and walked a few feet over to Mouse's booth where he signed it for me. He mentioned he splattered paint to create the vivid background.

What a great time! Two days later and I'm still buzzing. I haven't been to as many of these as others, but this was definitely the biggest I'be seen. The place was packed for the majority of the day, artists and collectors alike were charged up! Here are my pics from Instagram:

( not afraid to admit that amp frame Emek had was awesome! ^^^^)

Marty, where you at? Man, you throw a great party! A big thanks to you and your crew for pulling me in and making me feel at home. Pam and the gals running behind the scenes keeping everyone fed, it gets a little better each year and you already had the bar set high!

Fro, Rick, Jon, Benny, Derek, Jim; you guys are the bomb. I sincerely enjoy our conversations and and your insights into posters and the scene in general. Like any good show, half of it is the company you share it with. A couple new cats in there, a pleasure to hang out with you as well. Gonna need you to step up on eb and identify now, need to put some handles to faces.

I'll try and get some pics of my haul this week, it was a very good year!

Spusta with some pretty weak offerings, eh? Or was that shot taken after he sold all the goodies?

Emek booth looks siiiiick. Amplifier frame for $199? What a steal.

Sperry chose to display those because he created them as a sort of set. He had tons of goodies. Regulars, variants, blacklines, test prints, you name it.

My take is that all the top artists seemed to bring more quantity and quality than in the past 5 years or so. I think this factor contributed greatly to the place being packed with buyers well into the afternoon (without a lull).

I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.

Spusta had a bunch of stuff but his rack was picked clean a bit after peacedog’s photo. As always he kept sprinkling a few goodies in throughout the day...

Amp frame = badASS!

He got to him before Victor & crew got a piece of art out to display. Emek shows great respect for his forebears. Really great photos. What a great day!

Talk about capturing a moment. I took quite a few pictures and will try to get them posted here by this weekend. Definitely the most crowded I've ever seen a TRPS event. I think it may have out-grown the current space. Or, maybe it's time to make it a two-day show. Also, it was nice to meet some fellow E-Beaners.

Once again, big thanks from all at TRPS to all who made it out
to our little shindig. TRPS will hit its 20 year benchmark in 2018,
and it's really gratifying to see how this thing has grown.

Corey you said it well. It's the company that makes it special,
and it was great to share it with all you guys who came and
helped out. Thanks to you, Fro, Rick, Chris, Jon, Ben, Derrick, Jim,
Matt, and all you guys for all the truck loading, grid humping,
table stacking, and banner hanging. Your good cheer and enthusiasm
make all the work a pleasure.

Hey let's do this again next year!

Right on...the buzz continues. And TRPS 2018 is only 50 or so weeks away!

Thank you, Marty. Also to Pam, Ben, et al + all of the board members who make the show possible. And happy to know all of the proceeds go to such a good cause.

(I missed seeing our friend Dave Hunter this year, as I will every year going forward, but It was great to have his booth there and mostly to have his little girl visit and pick up some of her Dad's hidden treasures. #RIPDave #fuckglioblastoma)
