We've been planning this for AGES so I'm so glad I finally get to share the news. We couldn't be more excited to visit your beautiful city. More details to follow.

Very curious to see how this show will be set up. I suspect we'll see a lot of magnifying glasses. :)

I wonder if they're already all sold through her Instagram bidding and just being displayed. Maybe there will be prints? From what I remember, winning bids ranged from $300-$600, maybe more for super popular ones. But idk tho

It would be a really crummy thing to only exhibit pieces already sold plus it wouldn't make any sense considering 88 makes their money off of commission from sales.

Hmmm, I'm assuming she's mainly showcasing her originals for Potluck 100 | Paintings for Ants (#microcosmmondays, #tinytuesdays, #fursdays, #freefridays). Many of the 100 originals were sold over Instagram, but maybe there are some that haven't been. All 100 originals wouldn't be displayed because some of them have already been shipped to their owners.

I haven't kept tabs on the auctions, so I dunno how many of the 100 have sold. I'd hope there'd be a healthy number of originals for sale from the collection, and maybe some she may have done on the side. She has prints for sale on her site, so maybe she'll bring some. She could use them as fillers for originals she's already shipped.

But hey, maybe the exhibit will be for something completely different.

I agree that I'd hope she'd have originals available. This is all speculation though, and details for the event haven't been announced to the best of my knowledge.

When she says "We've been planning this for AGES so I'm so glad I finally get to share the news" you can bet that she will have a lot of original work on offer.

Duh. How long does it take to paint a postage stamp sized painting?

Based on how long some commissions take to be done, I'd say about 8 years.

She has a handful of OGs up for sale on her site, about $484 each. I wonder how that translates to gallery pricing.

The added exposure and promotion via G1988 and the volume of work she will most likely have at the show might help to keep prices around that much. Who knows.

Her originals range in final sale price. For the last year they've only been available via individual auctions she conducts on her Instagram. Average between about $500 to sometimes $1000. Depends on the subject matter.

Only recently has she offered any originals for direct purchase, and those ones are simpler pieces, compared to the auctioned ones.

Factor in that she has an international following and it's safe to assume the originals at her show will cost quite a bit more than $484.
