This exhibit is coming to the Akron art museum starting next weekend. Anyone here planning on going? If so you might also want to check out the Dreamworlds exhibition at the Canton museum of art which is only about 30 mins away. I'll be going up next weekend but not sure if it will be for the opening night party on friday or not until saturday.

I saw the exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach last summer, it is well worth a road trip!

A couple of additional good reasons to check out the opening night party for Turn The Page: The First Ten Years of Hi-Fructose at the Akron Art Museum:

Turn The Page artist Olek will be there with a troupe of performers in her crocheted, wearable sculptures.
A complimentary exhibition to Turn The Page will be open in the adjacent gallery: Gross Anatomies which features work by Ronit Baranga, Laurie Hogin, Jim Woodring, Hanna Jaeun, among many others (all of whose work has been in Hi-Fructose magazine, too):

Full disclosure: I work for the Akron Art Museum.
