Nice to see you appreciate them for what they are... :pint:

I'm sure some expect the 'movie posters have ruined the whole hobby' stance from veteran screen printers such as yourself.

thats just jealousy...the movie posters show a level of skill, design ,communication and meaning lightyears beyond most gig posters. They are in a league of their own. I am constantly amazed by them. I wish I had that level of skill.

Have you given any thought/accepted any commissions to do a movie poster yourself? I'm extremely excited to see some art prints from you! Best of luck!

I did one a few years back for 'Electraglide In Blue' I believe its in the EB archive area.

If i was ever approached, and it was a movie I liked and felt I 'understood' I'd be delighted to do another.

Welcome Frank.

You and Coop are to blame for my addiction.

Can't wait to see some new stuff.

Ps. My wife hates you by association to gp's. Nothing personal I'm sure... :notworthy:

Can't wait to see the new stuff, and I love those new propaganda prints. The Cthulu one in particular does it for me, but they are all great.

I may be going back down to Buenos Aries, Argentina in October to do a poster showing and give a presentation at the City Art Centre. They are trying to put together a 'rock art' festival. There is going to be a gallery show in Manila, Phillipines at FRESH in October as well. Then a show at Rotofugi in Chicago sometime in the first half of 2013. The latter 2 shows will be paintings and toys, some prints.
