Beatles nuts find out.

Interesting perspective ... I was thinking the pricing and edition size on this was way too ambitious, but maybe not. Guess we'll see.

I would think that edition size is fair considering the popularity of the material and pricing is fair considering whats included in the package, but that the package itself is too ambitious. 5 prints? Of varying orientation? Too many.

If it was just the first one? for $75? I'd be interested.

But they all look great, and I'm sure it will be hugely popular.

I’m not into them at all but this looks like a great set for fans! What with them, print flippers, Whalen fans, music memorabilia nuts and collectors involved, it could be a murderous drop if all concerned come out to play

Oh yeah, and film collectors too, figure DHM blasted through all their Christmas Charlie Whalen prints in an hour or whatever, now picture this is BEATLES, and this isn't even taking into consideration that there's going to be some looking at just breaking those folios up, happens with art prints, people just pull what they like and pop off the rest. Think on the $300 set there's room for many to do that easily, prob on the higher ticket ones too to some degree.

Very nice - expensive by any standard and its only Whalen - but I have to admit that I think YS suits Whalen's style perfectly - better than Disney in my mind. If I had the money I would go for it so I am going to try to save up by then. It looks like the landscape prints are smaller from the site but according to the text they are all 18x24. I'm looking forward to see what the Elite edition looks like and it sounds like the elites are going to be the only signed editions. Weird, but probably understandably for that Beatles fans are gonna cream their jeans to get their hands on the signed metallic edition. Lets see what happens.

Super artist group PNE sold out of these pretty quick, but this print hasn't been insanely sought after, as exhibited by the pretty low after-market prices. I'm not sure that just because these Whalen prints will be Beatles means they are sure to sell like cash-lined hotcakes.

Thoughts about the comparisons between this set and other Beatles prints?

Signed by Whalen might not mean as much to Beatles fans.

But this is going to be hard for me to resist.

Think it says a lot when you check out OMG Posters comments section that's just getting rolling and there's a comment from artist Ken Taylor on Tom's YS prints:

Man, I would LOVE a YS print... But I don't want 5 of them. :? :( Just that first one with the title, that's the best, IMO...

Anyone could type as Ken Taylor. I am sure it is him, but it is not hard to put any artist name & website down along with a comment...

These look great--Whalen was the right choice. $300 x 797 x 5 per set means a lot of prints to be sold--and that's just the regulars. But Beatles fans have a month to find out about these.

I think these look pretty good. I'd be in for a single, but there's no way I'm paying the entry fee for the set.

Did they not learn from the first set?

Gotta say, the first set is definitely much better than these ones.
